WHAT TO DO NOW?
Having lame sheep is costly in terms of pain for the sheep and financial returns for you - please get your vet involved!
We would like you to invite your vet onto your farm so that they can support you in tackling your lame sheep.
Now is a great time to get your vet involved at minimal cost because there are currently funds available through the Animal Health and Welfare Pathway in England or the Sustainable Farming Scheme in Scotland and Wales.
Please encourage your vets to access the Vet Toolkit or to set up a sheep farmer meeting so you are not alone as you tackle lameness.
