Plan Ahead

2. Do a farm-specific risk assessment with your vet

3. Use the Five Point Plan - see FAI website explaining 5PP

Prevent disease

1. Avoid the spread of disease

2. Avoid buying in CODD or new strain of footrot by quarantining

3. Remove risks from clinical cases by treating them quickly and by culling them when necessary

Protect the flock

1. Vaccinate against footrot
